Shipping Policy

AETEA Shipping & Delivery Policy (Legal-Compliant – UAE)

This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions governing the use of AETEA.ae, operated by Artisan Elements Trading LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stated below.

1.⁠ ⁠Delivery Coverage

AETEA currently delivers within the following areas:

  • Dubai: Daily delivery across Dubai city limits.
  • Abu Dhabi: Deliveries every Tuesday and Thursday, excluding public holidays, and only within Abu Dhabi city limits.
  • Other Emirates: Deliveries to other Emirates are not available at this time but we are urgently working on this.

AETEA reserves the right to update delivery coverage without prior notice.

2.⁠ ⁠Delivery Fees

  • Free standard delivery for orders above AED 250.
  • AED 20 delivery fee applies to orders below AED 250.
  • All delivery fees are inclusive of applicable UAE VAT.

3.⁠ ⁠Delivery Timeframes

Delivery timeframes depend on the delivery location and order time:

Dubai:

  • Orders placed before 4:00 PM: same-day express delivery within 2 hours (chilled option on additional charge available.
  • Orders placed after 4:00 PM: next working day delivery.

Abu Dhabi:

  • Delivery every Tuesday and Thursday.

Orders placed after 4:00 PM roll over to the next available delivery day.

Note: Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, operational capacity, or unforeseen circumstances. AETEA is not liable for delays outside of reasonable control.

4.⁠ ⁠Order Confirmation & Tracking

After placing your order, you will receive:

  1. Order confirmation email
  2. Delivery updates (via email or SMS/WhatsApp, depending on the delivery partner)

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all contact information is accurate at checkout.

5.⁠ ⁠Delivery Requirements & Responsibilities

  • The customer must ensure availability to receive the delivery at the provided address.
  • If the customer is unavailable, the courier may attempt a second delivery or contact the customer to reschedule.
  • If the order cannot be delivered after multiple attempts, AETEA reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a store credit.

Receiving by a third party: The customer may designate another individual to receive the order. AETEA may request verification or ID to confirm authorized receipt.

6.⁠ ⁠Product Condition Upon Delivery

Customers are required to check the order upon receipt.

If products arrive damaged, incorrect, or compromised, the customer must notify AETEA within:

  • 24 hours of delivery for damage, leakage, or quality issues
  • 48 hours of delivery for incorrect items

AETEA will provide a replacement or solution in accordance with UAE consumer protection guidelines.

7.⁠ ⁠Incorrect or Missing Items

If an incorrect item is delivered due to an internal error:

  • AETEA will replace the item free of charge within 2–3 working days, subject to product availability.

If an item is missing, AETEA will either:

  • Deliver the missing item at no cost, or
  • Issue a refund/store credit if the item is out of stock.

8.⁠ ⁠Order Changes, Cancellations & Add-Ons

  • Orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet been dispatched.
  • After dispatch, cancellations are no longer possible.
  • Items cannot be added to an existing order after checkout; a new order must be placed.

Refunds for cancellations (if applicable) will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, depending on payment provider policies.

9.⁠ ⁠Non-Delivery Due to Customer Error

AETEA is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from:

  • Incorrect shipping address
  • Inaccurate contact information
  • Failure to respond to courier communication
  • Customer unavailability at the time of delivery

Any costs incurred due to such errors may be charged to the customer.

10.⁠ ⁠Storage & Handling

AETEA Organic Sparkling Tea is a food and beverage product that should be:

  • Stored in a cool, dry place
  • Not exposed to direct sunlight
  • Chilled before consumption for optimal taste
  • Kept upright to avoid leakage or pressure buildup

AETEA is not liable for product deterioration resulting from improper storage after delivery.

11.⁠ ⁠Delivery During Public Holidays

Deliveries may be suspended or delayed during UAE public holidays.

All affected orders will be rescheduled to the next available delivery day.
